Gremio of Brazil are set to lose their star forward Luan and are ready to sell this summer transfer window, with Premier League side Liverpool and Serie A giant Inter Milan both interested in his signature, according to talkSPORT.
The Brazilian club have declared that they would be open to selling one of their most priced assets this summer; however, they would want him back on loan until December 2017. The twenty-four-year-old is believed to be one of the hottest prospects in South America and is ready for a move to a top side in Europe.
Gremio’s vice-president Odorico Roman said at a press conference: “There are many clubs interested in Luan, from all over Europe. For us (Gremio), the idea would be to sell him now but keep him (Luan) until the end of the campaign in December.”
Odorico Roman also said the football clubs interested in their young forward are from top European countries, such as, England, France, Spain, Italy, Russia, and Germany. Premier League side Stoke City are believed to be another club from England monitoring the starlet, with Anfield looking more likely to be Luan’s next destination if he chooses to come to the Premier League.
