Liverpool lost 1-0 to Swansea on Monday in the premier league, and of course, the fans aren’t excited.
But as Jurgen Klopp and his men host West Brom on Saturday at Anfield for their next FA Cup game, we all need to forget what happened on Monday and put our focus on the clash with the baggies.
In the previous round, Jurgen Klopp was able to eliminate Merseyside rivals Everton from the competition. The German boss is hungry for trophies, and he will hope he can win the FA Cup for his side.
Although Klopp will likely field a strong squad on Saturday, we still expect the boss to rest some players ahead of the next premier league game on Tuesday.
Roberto Firmino should watch the game from the bench while Danny Ings should get his first start for Liverpool this season. The duo of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are expected to give the Englishman all necessary support upfront.
With Simon Mignolet in-between the sticks, here is the starting XI we are expecting against West Brom.
GK – Simon Mignolet
DL – Andy Robertson
DC – Dejan Lovren
DC – Virgil Van Dijk
DR – Trent Alexander-Arnoid
Dm – Jordan Henderson
MC – Gini Wijnaldum
MC – Alex OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN
WL – Sadio Mane
WR – Mohamed Salah
FC – Danny Ings
