Liverpool conceded three goals at Sevilla during their Champions League group stage game on Tuesday, which is yet another reminder that the club needs good defenders.

Obviously, Jurgen Klopp has one of the best attacks right now in the premier league, but his defense department is quite bad, and he needs to get it bolstered.

But the latest transfer news that concerns Liverpool is not about a defender, but an attacker – in the person of PSG’s Julian Draxler.

According to L’Equipe, a handful of top European clubs have made contact to lure the Germany international in January, and Liverpool are one of them.

The 24-year-old, who earns something around €173,000 each week, has been linked with a move away from Unai Emery’s side since the arrival of the duo of Neymar and Mbappe in the summer.

And even lately, the manager has been using him in the central midfield role this term.

However, it was also said the versatile player is happy at Paris, but won’t rule out a loan move when January comes.

It was also added that other premier league clubs including Manchester City and Arsenal are keeping tabs on him.

This season so far, Julian has made 15 appearances for his club and has scored two goals with four assists.

He is a quality player who can easily adapt to any league, and will be of great value to Liverpool should he make the move to Anfield.
