Liverpool Submit Formal Bids To Sign Domagoj Vida and Jasper Cillessen

According to reports, Champions League finalists Liverpool have submitted bids for the duo of Domagoj Vida (Bekitas) and Jasper Cillessen (Barcelona).

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on taking advantage of the ongoing window to reinforce his defense department, and The Mirror made it known that his side have submitted an improved £20 Million to Bekitas in an attempt to bring Vida to Anfield ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

This summer so far, the German boss has already signed two midfielders and a winger, and he is expected to focus on his defense and goalkeeping departments before next season comes.

TeamTalk revealed that the reds have submitted an offer for Jasper Cillessen, meant to lure the talented goalkeeper away from Camp Nou this summer.

At Anfield, the duo of Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius have been unimpressive, and they are expected to receive the chop.

AS Roma and Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker has also been linked with a move to Anfield in recent times, but his side are demanding for a huge fee before they can allow him to leave Italy for Merseyside.

But it appears as if Liverpool are seeking for a cheaper alternative and have decided to sign Cillessen ahead of the 2018/19 season.
