Real Madrid forgotten-man Lucas Vazquez has emerged as a target for both Liverpool and Arsenal this summer with the transfer window wrapping up next week.
According to the Express, the two premier league clubs are looking to bring in the player after he struggled to hold down a starting place in Zinedine Zidane’s team.
Real Madrid have got a handful of top stars up front in the wings (including Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Isco and even Marco Asensio) who have all pushed Vazquez down the pecking order at the club.
So, it is something wise if the 26-year-old leave the Spanish capital to kick start his career somewhere he can get regular playing time to develop himself and prove his worth.
Liverpool are regarded as the club that seem to have the biggest interest in the talented player. And considering that Barcelona are still pursuing Philippe Coutinho, the reds might actually bring Vazquez into Anfield to strengthen Jurgen Klopp’s team.
Arsenal are also linked with the 26-year-old, and it is understood that the gunners could bring in the playeer to replace Chilean star Alexis Sanchez at the club.
Sanchez has been strongly linked with a move away from the Emirates as he enters the final year of his contract at Arsenal.
This summer transfer window is closing next week, and every decision should be sealed quickly.
