Six-time European champions Liverpool have made an offer for highly rated Lille winger Nicolas Pepe according to the latest reports emanating from the French media.

Nicolas Pepe is one of the most exciting prospects in European football on the back of a stellar season with his French Ligue club.

The 24-year-old has been turning heads in the Premier League and beyond as a result of his impressive performances for Lille during the recently concluded campaign.

Premier League giants Liverpool are one of several clubs keen to sign Pepe this summer with Lille hoping to secure at least £60m from his transfer this summer.

Lille manager Christopher Galtier has already confirmed that the Ivorian international star will leave the club during this summer’s transfer window.

Apart from Liverpool, clubs like Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan have also been mentioned as potential transfer destinations for the Lille player.

The latest publication from popular French news outlet Le10 Sport revealed that Liverpool have made an offer for the player and that there are two other proposals for the in-demand player.

Nicolas Pepe scored 22 goals and also assisted 11 more to help Lille to second spot on the French Ligue 1 table behind champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

The second spot was more than enough for Lille to secure a return to Champions League football ahead of the new season.
