Phillipe Coutinho is very likely to join Barcelona this January, and Liverpool must sign another superb player to replace the samba star.

Yesterday, there were reports that manager Jurgen Klopp wants to get the signature of Manuel Lanzini to replace Philippe.

Although Lanzini has been kinda impressive at West Ham in the premier league, playing at Anfield would be something entirely different.

The Argentine has only scored one goal in 15 games this campaign, which shows he isn’t good enough to replace Countiho.

Klopp should instead sign a proven quality versatile player, and Julian Draxler should be considered.

Last November, there were speculations that the Anfield club made contact to sign Draxler from PSG.

The German international won the World Cup for his country in 2014, as well as the Confederations Cup last year in Russia. This season so far in 14 games for the Ligue 1 giants, he has scored three goals and has provided five assists to his teammates.

He can effectively play as an attacking playmaker and also in the central midfield – just like Countiho.

According to the Sun, the French club are ready to allow him to leave for a fee worth £40M. Liverpool will surely make lots of money from the sale of Countiho, therefore, £40M shouldn’t be a problem to get a superb player like Julian.
