Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing a new quality player before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer after losing Phillipe Coutinho to Barcelona a few days back.
And as far as Liverpool’s transfers are concerned, Brazilian star player Lucas Moura is linked with a move to Anfield.
Moura has only played for 80 minutes this season so far at PSG and is keen on getting regular playing time to secure a spot in Brazil’s World Cup squad.
Although his contract is meant to expire in 2019, PSG are ready to sell him, and according to Le Parisien, the Ligue 1 heavyweights have set a price of €40 million on the samba star.
It was also added that his representatives are trying to secure a move to Liverpool for him, after the departure of Phillipe Coutinho.
Klopp needs an attacking player to replace Coutinho, but Le Parisien added that negotiations have not taken place for Moura’s signature yet.
Lucas is also linked with Manchester United, but the red devils are only interested in bringing him over to Old Trafford on loan – which is something PSG are not interested in doing.
With Liverpool ready to splash the cash for his signature, Moura is likely to become a Liverpool player before the end of this window.
