Spanish heavyweights Barcelona are not the most happiest football club right now. After being kicked out of the Champions League by Juventus, they’ve missed out on the La Liga title to rivals Real Madrid.

A lot of things are expected to be done in the team – including bringing in a new coach. Additionally, the Spanish club have been linked with a handful of players ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window – one of which is Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.

The Brazilian star is heavily linked with a move to the Nou Camp as this season comes to an end.

Since making his debut for Liverpool back in 2013, the Samba star has scored 41 goals in 181 games for the Anfield club. He has been monitored closely by Barcelona and the Spanish club are expected to bring up a big money offer for him ahead of the summer transfer window.

And amid the strong rumours linking him to the La Liga at the end of the season, the 24-year-old has spoken out about the speculations.

The playmaker told ESPN Brasil after Liverpool’s last premier league game for this season against Middlesbrough that he has a long contract with the Reds and is fully committed to seeing out his contract at the club.

Additionally, his German manager at Liverpool Jurgen Klopp has advised him to ignore the offer from Spain and stay with Liverpool to build a legacy.
