Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made a decision on the short-term future of striker Divock Origi.
Belgian international attacker Origi has been on the outskirts of the Liverpool team since he returned from his loan stint with German Bundesliga club VFL Wolfsburg in the summer.
Several clubs want to sign him in the current transfer window but the Liverpool Echo claim that Klopp has made the decision not to deplete his Reds squad further following the recent departures of Dominic Solanke and Nathaniel Clyne.
Nigerian-born England international striker Solanke completed a permanent transfer from Liverpool from South Coast club Bournemouth last week in a deal worth £19m.
He was joined at Bournemouth by fellow England international and former Liverpool teammate Nathaniel Clyne who has joined the Cherries on loan until the end of the season.
Bournemouth were in desperate need of a right-back following the long-term injuries to the duo of Adam Smith and club capital Simon Francis.
Divock Origi has not seen much opportunities in the first team this season and that’s mainly because of the form shown by the famed forward trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
The Belgian has been attracting the interests of Premier League sides like Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United.
