Leeds United Reportedly rekindle interest in Liverpool winger

According to reports, Leeds United have rekindled their interest in Liverpool Academy product, Ryan Kent. Leeds Chiefs are willing to agree on a loan move for the Liverpool starlet Ryan Kent.

The youngster was on loan at Yorkshire neighbours Barnsley last season, and after only playing just a game in the senior side at his home club Liverpool, his future might lie elsewhere besides Liverpool. Another loan move might not be ideal for his development, but should Leeds gain promotion, they would offer him playing time in the top flight that the Reds would not offer.

Kent, 20, was a youth team star for the Reds, and he spent the 2015-16 season at Coventry City on loan after appearing on Liverpool’s pre-season tour of Australia and Asia and a few appearance during an FA Cup match for the Reds in January of 2016 after his loan recall. The wonderkid played 17 games for the Sky Blues and scored a goal.

After spending the summer at Anfield, he once again went out on loan last season and spent the 2016-17 season with Barnsley FC. The starlet once again turned heads while away at Barnsley, and it was speculated that the Reds were interested in signing him to an improved deal to fend off interest from Premier League rivals AFC Bournemouth and Leeds United.

The starlet was rewarded with the Young Player of the Year award from the Tykes and has all the features of a star player to come out of the Liverpool Academy.
