One Star player plus Chilean out – Arsenal predicted starting lineup versus Bournemouth

Laurent Koscielny

Laurent Koscielny

Just three matches into the new English Premier League season, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is already under immense pressure, and all eyes will be set on Emirates Stadium as he prepares his team to take on AFC Bournemouth this Saturday.

The Gunners look to be falling out of favour with fans and press alike and are already finding it hard to keep tab with the Premier League title race. With the French tactician’s side losing 4-0 to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool after losing at Stoke city before the break.

It doesn’t seem like defender Laurent Koscielny will be starting for Arsenal as he got injured while on  International duty for France, as reported by 101GreatGoals, and Chile international Alexis Sanchez is also speculated to have been injured and remains a doubt to start the game.

The Arsenal manager has been using the 3-4-3 formation since the start of the new Premier League season so here is our predicted starting line up for the Arsenal versus AFC Bournemouth clash:

Goalkeeper:

Arsene Wenger will surely start Petr Cech, with the second choice safe hand David Ospina preferred for cum games, i.e., FA Cup and Europa League.

Defender:

With Laurent Koscielny apparently injured, Germany international Shkodran Mustafi could partner highly rated Rob Holding and new signing Sead Kolasinac at left back.

Midfield:

Four midfielders will be in the middle of the park, Germany international Mesut Ozil alongside Aaron Ramsey or Granit Xhaka. Following the summer exit of England international Oxlade-Chamberlain, Spaniard Nacho Monreal will replace him down the left with Hector Bellerin taking the right wing.

Forward:

Chilean Alexis Sanchez who remains a doubt to start the game will likely be replaced England international Danny Welbeck again after Welbeck’s impressive outing on International duty. Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette will be preferred up front and will be hoping to score more goals.

The Bournemouth clash is a must win for the Gunners with just three points gathered so far this season, from three matches, and Premier League Champions Chelsea away up next.
