Latest Update From Club’s Boss Ends Chelsea’s Hope Of Getting Player’s Signature This Summer

Alex Sandro

Juventus star player Alex Sandro has emerged as a target for Chelsea this summer and has been linked with the premier league champions for much of this transfer window.

However, it appears a deal won’t materialise this summer following the latest update from Juventus’ boss Massimiliano Allegri that the Brazilian won’t be leaving Italy and will play at Turin in the upcoming campaign.

The Samba star is understood to be keen on joining up with Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge and the former Juventus manager a huge admirer of the full-back.

Chelsea are said to have submitted several bids to Juve in an attempt to secure Sandro’s signature, but the Serie A champions keeps turning them down and at some point, raised the asking price for the player so as to frustrate Chelsea’s move.

It was also said that since Juve have sold Leonardo Bonucci to AC Milan already, they don’t intend letting Sandro leave so they could have a strong team for the upcoming campaign.

However, there are some other speculations that Conte feels confident he can still convince his former club to allow Sandro come over and join him at Stamford Bridge.

However, it appears Juve boss Allegri has ended Chelsea’s hopes of signing Alex this summer by insisting that the player is a Juventus player.

‘He [Sandro] is sensational and won’t leave.’ the manager said at Boston, during his side’s preseason tour.

‘We want to build on what we did last campaign,’ he added.
