Star Defender Will Reportedly Be Given A Chance At Chelsea Next Season.

Kenneth Omeruo is currently experiencing his fourth loan spell away from Chelsea while at Alanyaspor in Turkey.

However, new reports had it that Chelsea Italian boss Antonio Conte will be giving Omeruo a chance at Chelsea come next season.

Omeruo joined the Turkish club in August after signing an extension to his Chelsea contract.

The Nigerian is yet to make a first-team appearance for the blues since arriving from Standard Liege in 2012.

But it seems as if that is about to change next season.

According to OwnGoalNigeria, former Juventus manager and current Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, has told the 23-year-old that he will be part of the pre-season squad in the summer and will get a chance during the 2017/18 campaign.

It’s thought the Nigerian only signed his contract in August because the Chelsea manager gave him assurances he wouldn’t be sent out on loan again next term.

Kenneth Omeruo had 31 caps for his country Nigeria and will be in chelsea’s Pre-season Squad.

Over the last five years Omeruo has had spells at Dutch side ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough and Kasimpasa.

The defender has made 14 league appearances so far this season and has so much impressed in a number of positions.

The Nigeria star is a versatile talent who has been used as a right-back, centre-back and defensive midfielder.

His compatriot Victor Moses has become a key part of Antonio Conte’s team this season after three years out on loan.
