Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that he wants to add two more players to his squad this summer.
United have signed the duo of Victor Lindelof from Benfica and Romelu Lukaku from Everton as part of Mourinho’s plans to bolster his ranks ahead of a hectic season.
The Red Devils have been linked with moves for several players this summer with reports that they want to bring in a central midfielder and a winger to consolidate their current squad.
Jose Mourinho has now come out to confirm the reports while on pre-season tour in Los Angeles, he said:
‘We are not happy with just Lukaku and Lindelof, we need more, we wanted four, so I would say 50 per cent of the job done,’
There are reports that Manchester United are still keen on signing Nemanja Matic from Chelsea despite the Blues’ reluctance to allow the midfielder move to their direct rivals, coupled with United’s move for Romelu Lukaku which scuppered their transfer plans this summer.
It is also understood that Inter Milan might be forced to sell Ivan Perisic to United as the player is also keen on moving to the Old Trafford and getting convinced that Mourinho can take his career to the next level in the Premier League.
