Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he’s open to a return to a managerial role at European champions Real Madrid.
Mourinho told BeIN Sports that he doesn’t have any problems returning to the dugout at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
The Portuguese tactician was the Real Madrid manager for three years between 2010 and 2013.
He led Real Madrid to the 2011/12 Spanish La Liga triumph ahead of rivals Barcelona.
Real Madrid could appoint a new manager in the summer due to the fact that current boss Santiago Solari has failed to improve the team considerably since his appointment as a replacement for the sacked Julen Lopetegui.
The Los Merengues had replaced Zinedine Zidane with Julen Lopetegui who lasted just three months in the job following a disastrous start to the season.
Zidane won three successive Champions League titles before resigning from the job at the start of this season.
Real Madrid have made little strides since Santiago Solari replaced ex-Spanish national team manager Lopetegui in October.
The former club player could struggle to keep the job beyond this season especially after the recent losses to Barcelona in the El Clasico.
His Real Madrid team were beaten by Barcelona in both the Spanish Cup and Spanish La Liga within three days.
