Inter Milan have reportedly dashed Manchester United’s hopes of signing Ivan Perisic and will sell other players to keep the winger.
The 28-year-old has been a subject of transfer interest from the Red Devils since last February, when it emerged that Jose Mourinho travelled to Zagreb, Croatia to talk to the player’s representatives which he later denied.
Recent reports have it that United have intensified their efforts to lure Perisic to the Old Trafford and will thrash out a deal for him in coming weeks.
However, it has emerged that Inter Milan are displeased by Mourinho’s sneaky approach to lower their transfer valuation for the winger and wants to make the player force a move away for half of his actual value.
Inter Milan are also in the trouble of being sanctioned due to the Financial Fair Play regulations if they do not sell a player for £26million or more. United understands Inter’s precarious situation and are ready to capitalise by reducing Perisic’s £45million
Reports by reliable Italian journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio have it that Inter will rather cash in on other players than selling one of the best players for half the price, and will be looking at the chances of selling any of Marcelo Brozovic, Jeison Murillo, Ever Banega and Andrea Ranocchia with the later spending some part of the last campaign at relegated Hull City.
