Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has officially confirmed that the club veteran Antonio Valencia would be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Antonio Valencia has been a Man United player for the past 10 years and it could be time to say goodbye with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not ready to work with him in the coming season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was forced to say it when talking about the potential candidates at the club for the captain band as he noted that Antonio Valencia would have been good but he is leaving while he pointed to Ashley Young, Paul Pogba, David De Gea and Chris Smalling as other candidates.
Antonio Valencia’s contract at the Old Trafford is, however, expected to run out at the end of the season which makes him a free agent.
However, Antonio Valencia has been linked with a move to the MLS in the coming season but it is unclear what is decision would be as he is yet to make any official claim.
The Red Devils will not seek a replacement for Antonio Valencia in the coming summer transfer window as it is already confirmed that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be storming the market for additions.
