How Solskjaer takes swipe at Sanchez in advice to United board

Sanchez

Man United interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskajer has told the club that signing players who are already established are not good for the club.

It is understood that the former United manager unwittingly took a swipe at Chile international Alexis Sanchez who joined the club on a big money deal, including his weekly wage.

Alexis Sanchez joined the Old Trafford from the North London outfit Arsenal and he became one of the highest paid players of the club, yet he has not given a satisfactory performance to justify his huge pay.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hints that United need to learn their lesson and only move in for players who fit into the club’s pattern rather than those with just big names.

He noted that a number of things need to be considered like personality, age, style of play and quality ahead of big names when deciding on players to bring in to the club.

According to him, younger players can be developed and they have got a future to deliver good performance at the club than bigger players who are already running out of age.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might have the opportunity to decide that as he is in line to take the job on a permanent basis.
