Chelsea defender Baba Rahman has made a return back to first-team training this week after his knee injury.
The fullback spent the last term on loan at Bundesliga side Schalke but his period was cut short after picking up an injury while representing his country at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Ghanaian joined the Stamford Bridge club in 2015 from Augsburg but has featured just 15 times in the premier league for the Blues. The African star failed to impress Chelsea new boss Antonio Conte upon his arrival at the club last summer.
The talented player was not part of both of his side’s Premier League and Champions League squads and will have to prove his fitness to be included in January.
Many Chelsea players are still on international duty and the club’s boss Antonio Conte had a depleted number to train with at their training ground this week.
And photos from training showed Baba Rahman alongside the likes of Danny Drinkwater and Cesc Fabregas at Cobham.
Additionally, new signing Kylian Hazard was also spotted, while his brother Eden is currently representing Belgium at the international stage.
Conte is set to lead his men to the King Power Stadium to clash with Leicester City after the international break. Danny Drinkwater will hope to play against his former club following his switch to Stamford Bridge few days ago.
