Legend Wants Man United To Make This Player Stay When Summer Comes

Manchester United legend Gary Neville is of the opinion that his former club cannot afford to lose Swede legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic when the summer transfer window comes.

Ibrahimovic signed a one year deal last summer as a free transfer, and has scored 28 times for the Old Trafford club under new Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho so far this season.

He is currently the Man United player with the most goals this season, and he has been nominated for the prestigious PFA Player of the Year award.

Nevertheless, it is yet unclear if the former Barcelona player will choose to sign an extension on his clause that enables him to remain with the red devils until 2018.

Not too long, Raiola (his popular agent) gave a hint that says the ability of Man United to qualify for next season Champions League might be a deciding factor if he would stay or not.

And the former defender speaking on Sky Sports, expressed that losing Zlatan would be “appalling” for both Jose and the club.

He noted that to replace his goals at the end of the term, it’s got to be an immediate concern for the Portuguese manager.

Truly, as Mourinho works towards bringing back Man United’s glories, Zlatan is a necessary player coming to the rescue on many occasions.

Even in the cup final which was the first major trophy Mourinho won at the club, it was Ibrahimovic who dragged them through.
