Premier League ‘Prodigal Son’ To Return After Spain’s Difficulties – Man United To Embrace Him

Gareth Bale

Former Tottenham player Gareth Bale seem to be set for a come-back to premier league like a prodigal son, as the talented star is said to be planning a return from Spain at the end of this season.

Bale is said to be scared for his future at Real Madrid after enduring a hard season at the Spanish capital following a stellar Euro 2016 outing with his country.

The Wales international has battled ankle and calf injuries this season and as a result of that, has been limited to just 26 appearances.

Recently, it was reported that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is growing displeased with Bale’s lack of game time at the club, and considering that they are doing fine without Bale in the Champions League and in the Spanish top flight, he could be sold this summer.

News coming out from Spain states that the former Tottenham fast-man is scared that his career at Real Madrid is coming to an end, and he has informed his agent that he will consider moves to Europe’s tops.

Before he moved to Tottenham from Southampton back then, Manchester United have been on his tail as United former manager Sir Alex Ferguson made attempt bringing him to Old Trafford.

When David Moyes was also boss at Manchester United, he tried signing him to the club, but Bale’s heart is already set on a move to La Liga.

Despite that, it was reported that Man United have renewed hope of getting him and they are frontrunners to sign him.

In addition, his entourage are set to explore the possibility of other European clubs making a summer move, and Chelsea are one of the finance capable clubs they will sound out to.
