Manchester United are a big club who do big things – including when it comes to signing players. Last summer, they splash a record-fee to sign in France international Paul Pogba. And a world-class player they have also been trying to sign is German international and Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller.

It was revealed last February by the Telegraph that the Old Trafford club even made an offer of €100 million, but still failed to sign the talented forward last summer.

In the beginning of this year, Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthaus insisted that there is no room for Muller in the team now.

However, latest reports indicates now that the 27-year-old star is ready to finally join Manchester United.

A Spanish source Mundo Deportivo reported that Muller is not playing regularly, and claims that he aims to sign for Manchester United.

It was also said that the Portuguese boss Mourinho has repeatedly tried to secure his signature.

Nevertheless, considering his stats, the striker has been a regular starter in the league for the German club. So far in 21 league appearances, he started 18 games for the Bundesliga giants. In fact, the last time he was on the bench was back then in December 2016.I

In the local cup competitions however, Thomas has mainly been a bench warmer. And in the Champions League too this season, he has only started four games for Bayern.

He is now valued at €58.8million.
