Manchester United Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho has been trying to sign Samba star Willian to Old Trafford and he appears to be working hard to get him.
However, despite the interest from his former manager, the Brazilian attacker has now pledged his future to Chelsea.
Willian has lost his regular starting place under Chelsea’s new Italian boss Antonio Conte this term, but he however remains an important player for the former Juventus coach.
He scored twice in Chelsea’s 4-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup semi-final last month and he has played a part in their fabulous Premier League win.
And it was said that Mourinho is keen to bringing the 28-year-old to Man United this summer having worked with him at Stamford Bridge before he was sacked last year.
Unfortunately, it appears Jose won’t be getting Willian at all because the striker states that he is quite happy with Chelsea.
Willian, speaking recently about his future at Chelsea, insists that his future is with the west London club, and his contract at the club is meant to expires at 2020 – and he is very happy.
Additionally, another Chelsea star – Thibaut Courtois, who has been vehemently linked with La Liga giants Real Madrid, has also affirmed his desire to remain at Chelsea despite all rumours.
