It was an eventful day at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea fans as they overturned a Christian Eriksen goal to come back and win 2-1.
It started on a bad note at Stamford Bridge as Tottenham held on to possession to make sure they denied Chelsea the ability to create chances or even get a goal with long spells on the ball until Pedro Rodriguez scored with a wonderful turn and a curling shot to restore parity in the 45th minute to preserve their unbeaten run.
With a better showing in the dying minutes of the 1st half and a more motivated Chelsea in the second have the home team took the game to Totttenham as they had figured out how to break their hold and utilize the wings to exploit Pochettino’s boys.
The renewed enthusiasm was rewarded when a wonderful drive in by Diego Costa who laced a wonderful pass which was slotted home by a rushing Victor Moses after being deflected off Tottenham defender.
The team did good to hang on to their lead and take their unbeaten run to seven games while, topping the league and piling more misery on Pochettino’s boys who were going to face a resurgent Manchester United at home for their next match.
