European Heavyweights Join Race To Snatch Star Midfielder From Liverpool’s Grip

The future of Philippe Coutinho at Liverpool is still uncertain and it is possible the Brazilian will complete a move to Barcelona before the transfer window closes next week.

Liverpool are thus on the lookout for a new midfielder this summer and even manager Jurgen Klopp has made it known that he is trying to sign a new midfielder.

After admitting defeat in their pursuit of RB Leipzig’s Naby Keita with the German club rejecting a superb £66m bid for the African, the Anfield club are now looking at other players.

The talented youngster has shown no signs of signing a new deal and has also emerged as a target for the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Real Madrid.

And in a new development, Spanish heavyweights Barcelona are said to have joined in the race for Goretzka this summer since they are not very confident that Liverpool will allow Countiho to Camp Nou this summer.

Even if Countiho should remain at Anfield, German star Emre can decide to go to Juventus, and Klopp should try luring Leon into his team.
