Chelsea star player Eden Hazard is a long-term target for Champions League winners Real Madrid and he remains on their radar.
The Belgian star was very much linked with the La Liga champions during the past January transfer window, but a move failed to materialise even though Real were ready to splash huge cash on the player.
In a new development, it appears the talented player has given Zinedine Zidane’s side a renewed hope of landing him by declaring that he is open to a big-money move to Spain in the future.
Following his arrival at west London back in 2012, Eden has scored 72 goals in 249 appearances for Chelsea and has grown into one of the best players at Chelsea and in the premier league.
Despite it all, the Belgium international has consistently been linked with Real Madrid following his impressive performances at Chelsea.
Hazard played a big role in Chelsea’s ability to win the premier league last term, and he revealed that though he is happy at Stamford Bridge, he is not ruling out a move to the La Liga at some stage of his career.
Speaking to Spanish outlet Marca, he admits that Chelsea is one of the best teams in the world, and that he is currently good in England.
“But yes, the Spanish La Liga is special… Why not one day?” he said.
