Chelsea Star Revealed What He Did After Helping Chelsea Beat Arsenal

Chelsea Star Revealed What He Did After Helping His Side Beat Arsenal.

Eden Hazard says he spent no time rewatching his brilliant goal for his side against the gunners earlier this month

Chelsea star player Eden Hazard has revealed that he spent the rest of the day relaxing with his children after helping to fire his side to a 3-1 victory over their rivals Arsenal in the Premier League earlier this month.

The Belgium international was in nice form as he helped the Stamford Bridge club take another step towards winning the Premier League crown with a convincing win at Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian scored Chelsea’s second goal on the afternoon as he dribbled past Arsene Wenger’s defence and fired home a superb solo strike.

The 26-year-old midfielder however insists that he spent no time dwelling on the result of his performance against Arsenal.

When he was asked if he spent any time rewatching the goal, he told the London Evening Standard:

“No, I was at home with my kids.

“I just enjoyed the rest of my Saturday and the other days were the same.”

The Stamford Bridge club are now gearing up for their game against Swansea City in the Premier League this weekend as they seek to keep their place at the top of the table.

Arsenal on the other hand were humiliated by German champions Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Round of 16 UCL tie. Wenger’s men however bounced back to beat Sutton United in the FA Cup.

Though the gunners had to face Southampton away from home, that game has however been postponed because the Saints have to play Manchester United in the EFL Cup final at the weekend.

Therefore, their next game is at Anfield against Liverpool, while the Reds will collide against Leicester City away from home next Monday.

PhysioRoom reported that the duo of Elneny and Iwobi suffered injuries in the last game versus Sutton. It was however added that Iwobi’s injury is not severe and both him and Laurent Koscielny are set to be fit for Arsenal to face Liverpool.
