Premier League title chasers Liverpool have been handed a big transfer blow after one of their targets agreed to a contract with Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic has been a long-term target for Liverpool and the Reds are almost certain to miss out on his signature to Real Madrid
It was revealed that the player has agreed to a six-year deal with the Los Merengues ahead of a summer move to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
This is according to popular Spanish newspaper AS which claimed that the deal will be around €60m.
It was also revealed that Portuguese giants Benfica will be entitled to 20% of the deal (€12m) which is the sell-on clause in the contract that took him from the Portuguese top flight league leaders to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Luka Jovic was formerly a loanee at Eintracht Frankfurt from Benfica having joined on a two-year loan deal at the start of last season.
His loan contract was made a permanent one for just €7m in April thus paving the way for him to join Real Madrid in the summer.
Luka Jovic is one of the leading marksmen in European football this season at the age of just 21.
He has scored 26 goals for Eintracht Frankfurt in all competitions.
