Las Palmas have signed Chelsea outcast Loic Remy on a two-year deal on a reported free transfer.

The 30-year-old striker passed a medical examination on Thursday evening and will be presented to fans on Saturday.

The Frenchman played 32 Premier League matches for the Blues, after joining them for £8.5m from QPR back in 2014 and spent the last campaign on loan at London club Crystal Palace.

Remy was also sent out on loan to Newcastle and has played for about four sides in the French Ligue 1.

The big striker is the second Ex English Premier League player to join Las Palmas this week, after former Liverpool midfield maestro Alberto Aquilani, was lured to the Ligue 1 outfit.

Remy netted seven English Premier League goals in the 2014-15 campaign as the Blues won the League title, but he did not score in eight matches in all competitions during a disappointing loan period at Crystal Palace in the 2016-17 season.

The striker was a famous member of the Chelsea dressing room and a striker who will always have a spot in Chelsea history books for his excellent contribution during the 2014-15 victorious League season.

Some other transfers were sealed on La Liga deadline day, as Watford FC goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon joined La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna on a season-long loan move.

The former Manchester City safe hand joined Watford from Sunderland back in January 2016, but only played two matches as a substitute in the English Premier League for the Hornets.
