Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been advised to immediately secure a replacement for striker Danny Welbeck who is being wanted by Crystal Palace ahead of the January transfer window.
Palace are believed to be willing to pay within the region of £10 million for Welbeck who has been dominated by Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.
The England international’s contract is expected to expire at the end of the season with no negotiations on the table for him, hinting that he is not in the plans of the club.
More so, Welbeck would be pushing for a deal away from the North London in order to play regularly to be able to be seen for the national team in future engagements.
However, the Spanish manager has been advised to secure an experienced third option that would replace the former Manchester United man once he leaves at the end of the season.
The Gunners team are lacking in options for experienced forwards outside the Gabon and French international which pundits express concern over due to fatigue and loss of form of the duo.
Meanwhile, the former Spanish manager might be looking forward to replacing the former England international with Reiss Nelson who is currently impressing on loan in the German Bundesliga.
