Glen Kamara

The Finnish midfielder joined the Emirate club’s academy from Southend back in the summer of 2012 and played a single first team match for the club.

Twenty-one year old Kamara has been on trial at Dens Park for about two weeks, playing in friendly wins over St Mirren, Arbroath and Brechin City.

Arsenal have confirmed that Glen Kamara will be joining Scottish club Dundee FC on a permanent basis. They also issued a statement “We (Arsenal) would like to thank Glen for his contribution to the club and wish him (Glen) well for the future.”

Kamara has represented Finland at age group level and had two short-period loan spell at Southend United and Colchester United.

His only first team appearance for the Gunners came in the 3-0 loss to Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup in October 2015.

Kamara is the latest Arsenal youngster to leave the Emirate this summer transfer window.

Youngsters such as Chris Willock, Kaylen Hinds, and Daniel Crowley have already signed for Benfica, Wolfsburg, and Willem II respectively this summer transfer window.

More young players departures are imminent, as players leave for more first team chances else where.

He joins the Scottish club from the North London club where he spent five years in the academy system.
