Liverpool striker Divock Origi has revealed his desire to play for the club in any position as the Reds hunt down major honours on two fronts between now and the end of the season.
In his interview with the official LFC Magazine, Belgian international Origi said he’s ready to play anywhere for Liverpool.
Divock Origi has played on the wings for Liverpool on several occasions this season and the 23-year-old says he has no problem with that.
The Belgian attacker added that he played on the wings during his formative years as a footballer.
Divock Origi has enjoyed a remarkable turnaround in his Liverpool career having joined the club from Lille in 2014.
He signed for Liverpool from French Ligue 1 club Lille shortly after his good outing at the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil.
Origi spent some time on loan at both Lille and German club VFL Wolfsburg before returning to Liverpool at the start of this season.
He scored just six goals for VFL Wolfsburg while he was at the German club last season.
Origi has made some meaningful contributions to the Reds’ quest for the Premier League title including his last-minute winning goal against Everton in the Merseyside Derby in December.
He came off the bench before pouncing on the mistake from Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to give Liverpool a 1-0 win at home.
