Diego Costa Chelsea transfer news

Chelsea forward Diego Costa has been linked with a move away from the Stamford Bridge club since last year.

The Spanish forward had been linked with Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian this past January winter transfer window, but a move failed to materialized.

The China Club is however not backing off, and it appears they would eventually get his signature this summer.

New reports coming from Spain states that the Chinese Super League club has agreed to personal terms with the Spaniard ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

A radio station ‘Cadena Ser’ insists that the former Atletico Madrid striker will put pen to paper on a pre-contract agreement very soon and that the deal will see him rake in a superb £25Million-a-year in China.

It was added that a meeting took place last Friday between representatives from Tianjin and Costa’s camp and that the deal was struck and will be signed off in the middle of May.

It was also added that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is pleased to cash in on the striker and that the premier league leaders are quite aware of the meeting and are willing to sell him for €90 Million – which will be reinvested into the squad.

The radio station also states that Real Madrid star player Alvaro Morata is Chelsea’s top target to replace Diego Costa at the club.
