Defender On The Road Back To Old Trafford, Mourinho Eager To Have Him

Manchester United could be ready to recall Cameron Borthwick-Jackson from his loan with Wolverhampton Wanderers, The Manchester Evening News revealed.

Wolverhampton Wanderers new manager Paul Lambert has not yet feature the young left back defender. Since Manchester United are not happy over the youngster’s poor playing time, it is reported that they could recall Borthwick-Johnson.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson is currently on a season-long loan at Wolverhampton. However, new manager Paul Lambert is still contemplating whether to retain him this January or not.

To further fuel the rumors and possibilities of Borthwick-Johnson’s return to the Old Trafford, the report stated that Cameron Borthwick-Jackson was added to Manchester United’s Europa League squad a couple of weeks ago.

The 19-year-old broke into Manchester United’s first team last year under Louis Van Gaal amid an injury crisis and made 14 appearances for the team.

This made the red devils to reward the superb teenager with a new four-year deal and to send him out on loan to Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Unfortunately, Borthwick-Jackson has only played seven games in all competitions for Paul Lambert side, and has not been featured since early November.

The talented England under-20 defender has been left out of Paul Lambert’s plans so far. It seems the Wolverhampton boss  preferred experience in the defensive department at the moment.
