Champions League finalists Liverpool are said to be eyeing a move for West Ham United attacker Felipe Anderson during this summer’s transfer window.
This is according to the publication from popular English media portal Daily Mail which claimed that Liverpool have identified the Brazilian international as one of the creative players that could boost their squad ahead of the new season.
Felipe Anderson had a very good season for West Ham United in his first season in English football following his big-money move for the Brazilian player.
He scored nine goals and also provided four assists in 36 games in the Premier League as West Ham sealed a place in the top half of the table.
A top-ten finish was confirmed in the Premier League on the final day of the season following the 4-1 thrashing of Watford away from home.
Felipe Anderson signed for West Ham United at the start of the season in a club-record deal which cost the Hammers to the tune of £36m.
He joined the Hammers from Italian Serie A giants Lazio last summer.
Liverpool struggled at times on the creative side during the recently concluded Premier League season and Felipe Anderson has the quality to add the needed creativity to the final third of the Liverpool attack.
