The North London outfit Arsenal have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Spanish LA Liga outfit Real Madrid star James Rodriquez as he has decided to find a new club in the summer transfer window.
James Rodriquez has been on a two-year loan with the German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich which has now expired but he is not keen on staying back while the club is not willing to hand him that option.
However, reports in Spain hints that James Rodriquez does not have a place in the manager Zinedine Zidane’s team which means he would not be returning back to the Bernabeu and could look out to other clubs that have been on his case.
The North London outfit Arsenal were reported to be leading in the chase of James Rodriquez who scored a total of 15 goals and provided 20 assists for Bayern Munich within 67 appearances in the course of the two seasons.
This could be a major hope to Arsenal of landing the Colombian playmaker as he would be available on a cheaper fee than his initial value since he is no longer wanted by Real Madrid for the new season.
The decision on what to do will, therefore, be left to manager Unai Emery to make.
