Chelsea summer signing Davide Zappacosta has made it known that he is aiming to become a regular player at his new club, and has fired some warnings to his wing-back rival Victor Moses.
The Italian star player said he is ‘convinced’ he will become a regular at Stamford Bridge, which, of course, will be to the detriment of Moses’ playing time.
Zappacosta moved to Chelsea from Torino in the summer and the Italy international has made some good impression already in London. He was able to score a superb goal on his debut for Chelsea during their Champions League group opener against Qarabag – which led to Victor Moses being mocked by his team-mates on the bench.
And, here is another warning to Victor to watch out for his position in Antonio Conte’s squad!
Davide is not yet playing regularly at Chelsea, but he believes his new manager has faith in him and that he will still have more chances to prove he is good at playing English football.
Nigerian international Victor Moses played an adequate role to help Chelsea win the premier league trophy last season after taking his game to a new level under the club’s new Italian manager.
But it appears he is no longer untouchable, and he was even benched during the 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.
