David Moyes promise Jack Wilshere first team ahead of January switch

Jack Wilshere

West Ham boss David Moyes has confirmed his interest in Arsenal star Jack Wilshere and has claimed the England international midfielder could get the regular football he desires if he signs for his team in the January transfer window.

The Arsenal midfielder has endured a difficult frustrating season at the club this campaign, failing to break into the side regularly since returning from a season-long loan spell at AFC Bournemouth.

Jack Wilshere is yet to begin an English Premier League match for Arsenal this campaign though he has scored a goal and made an assist in six matches in the UEFA Europa League, where he has performed pretty well.

While it is difficult to fathom why French tactician Arsene Wenger continues to select Granit Xhaka over Jack Wilshere in league games, it looks increasingly clear that the Wilshere, 25, doesn’t have a future with Arsenal.

London club West Ham could provide a solution to Wilshere’s first-team woes, with manager David Moyes making it crystal clear he sees the Englishman as a player who could become a vital player straight away at the club.

The midfielder, who has six months remaining on his Arsenal contract, is in line for selection against West Ham tonight due to Aaron Ramsey’s injury.
