After the unfortunate 3-2 loss to Bayern Munich in Singapore, there is a new development at Stamford Bridge that will bring smiles to the faces of Chelsea fans.
There are reports that Injured star player Hazard has returned to training ahead of schedule in what represents a huge boost for the club.
Eden was operated on last month after suffering a broken ankle while playing for Belgium on international duty.
He was expected to make a return back to the field in October and he was completely ruled out of his side’s preseason tour in the Far East.
However, the 26-year-old was able to participate in light training this week and could be on the path of making an earlier return than expected.
So far, the premier league champions have played two games in pre-season, beating Arsenal 3-1 and then losing 3-2 to Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
It is understood that the Stamford Bridge club’s Italian manager intentionally chose to play less preseason games this summer so they could be fully prepared for the upcoming campaign.
Chelsea will be playing just four games before they begin their premier league campaign against Burnley at Stamford Bridge.
Conte won the premier league title last season in his first campaign at the club and in England, and he will try replicating something close to that this season.
