Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois dropped Chelsea’s title rivalry with Tottenham  to one side as they posed with Tottenham Hotspur defensive duo of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen for a snap during an event in London.

The blues have the upperhand in the title race after their 3-1 victory against relegation candidates Swansea City at Stamford Bridge last weekend, thanks to goals from the trio of Cesc Fabregas, Pedro Rodriguez and Diego Costa.

Tottenham on the other hand moved to within 10 points of the west London side with 12 games left to play in the title race, thanks to Kane’s hat-trick in a 4-0 win against Stoke City at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

And the Belgium internationals casted their title rivalry for one night as Chelsea goalkeeper Courtois and forward Hazard were all smiles alongside Alderweireld and Vertonghen for a photo during a Nike event in London.

Spurs star Vertonghen posted the photo on his Instagram story and went ahead using the Belgium flag as his caption.

The Stamford Bridge club  were 2-1 winners against Tottenham at Stamford Bridge in November before Spurs exacted their revenge with a 2-0 win at White Hart Lane in January.

Former Tottenham Man: This Is Chelsea’s Only World-class Ball Passer

Meanwhile, Garth Crooks is of the opinion that Chelsea’s only world-class passer of the ball is Cesc Fabregas.

Fabregas was given a rare starting spot for the visit of the Welsh side at home in Stamford Bridge as Nemanja Matic dropped to the bench.

He scored the opener for his side in the first half and also laid an assist for Pedro Rodriguez.

And Crooks singled out the former Arsenal captain for special praise following his stylish performance in Chelsea’s 3-1 win against Swansea last weekend.

“This was by no means a stellar performance from Chelsea but it was by Cesc Fabregas,” Crooks told BBC Sport.

“Manager Antonio Conte left out Nemanja Matic against a most impressive Swansea for the one player in his squad who is a world-class passer of the ball. Fabregas may not have the running power of Matic but he can cut a defence to ribbons with a swing of his left foot.”
