According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur star player Danny Rose is not likely to recover in time to feature for his side’s FA Cup semifinal clash with Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday.
Rose, who has opened up about his injury struggles, has not featured for his club since January due to his injury.
Many Tottenham supporters were hoping that the England fullback could make a return back to the pitch as the White Hart Lane outfit look set to win the FA Cup this season.
Nevertheless, it was reported that Rose is not likely to be available for Mauricio’s side ahead of the Chelsea game at Wembley.
Even though the Englishman is working harder in training and is expected to be back before this season ends, he won’t obviously make his return on Saturday against Chelsea.
And as for Chelsea, the duo of Thibaut Courtois and Marcos Alonso could be missing due to injury. The Belgian goalie missed the clash with Manchester United on Sunday and the leftback is a doubt for the FA Cup semi-final.
Alonso, who was also absent from the starting XI against Man United, is said to have been suffering from a virus, though some sources stated that he was actually injured.
The number one goalie at Stamford Bridge – Courtois, is rumoured to have picked up an injury while he was shooting a commercial with basketball not too long ago.
