Chelsea vs Man Utd: match preview

The Blues will host Man Utd on Saturday in the English Premier League.

While Chelsea have improved this season and are seated at the second spot on the EPL with 20 points, the same can’t be said of the visiting club.

Man Utd under the ‘Special one’ are struggling for the fourth position on the EPL table alongside Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Jose Mourinho always have issues in his third year at every club he coaches and the same scene is already playing out at Old Trafford.

The Portugal international has slammed the Red Devils board, he has lost control of the club’s dressing room, he has issues with some of his players and he is also fighting with the press.

This season has seen Man Utd performance ebb low, the Red Devils were shockingly defeated by Brighton, which was the beginning of their woes.

The Red Devils board would have handed Mourinho his sack letter but the Portuguese managed to escape after the club surprisingly defeated Newcastle United.

Apart from Mourinho, the Red Devils players have not been spectacular; the likes of Juan Mata, Pogba and Lukaku are sometimes good and sometimes worse, the duo of Rashford and Martial need enough playing time but neither of the two have proved that they merit it, the worst player happens to be Alexis Sanchez and only Luke Shaw seems to have improved.

It is no hidden fact that Mourinho will pack the bus against Chelsea on Saturday but what we don’t know is the formation he will use, it could be 4-3-3,  4-4-1-1,  5-4-1 or even  6-3-1.

And Mourinho will likely bench Paul Pogba and start Fellaini in his place to man-mark Chelsea midfielder, Jorginho.

The Blues are expected to win the match.
