Chelsea trashed Sunderland 5-1 in their final premier league game, and are officially crowned champions today.
Although their London rivals Arsenal also won Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, they could not avoid missing out on the Champions League next season after fourth placed Manchester City thrashed Watford 5-0 away from home.
While Chelsea are going to play in the Champions League next season, Arsenal are playing in the Europa League…
But all is not over yet for this season…. The FA Cup final is almost here!
Arsene Wenger’s side will play Chelsea next Saturday at Wembley to decide who goes home with the FA Cup trophy.
The gunners booked a Wembley final when they beat Manchester City 2-1 some weeks ago, and are eager to wining the FA Cup for the third season.
Chelsea on the other hand successfully won the premier league title in Antonio Conte’s first season at Chelsea and in England and he is looking forward to a domestic double on Saturday at Wembley.
And former Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp is of the opinion that Arsenal stand a fighting chance of beating the premier league champions in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
Jamie speaking to Sky Sports about the gunners potential to beat Chelsea in the FA Cup final, noted that Wenger’s side are currently in good form and that their London rivals would relax after winning the premier league title.
