Juventus refused to allow Alex Sandro make a move to Chelsea after emerging as a target for the premier league champions this summer.
However, it appears the west London club are still having some thoughts of seeing the Brazilian play at Stamford Bridge this season as they are, according to the Telegraph, prepared to launch one final bid for the talented star this transfer window.
Antonio Conte has been on the lookout for a left wing-back all summer to provide competition for Spanish star Marcos Alonso in his squad and Sandro has been identified by the Italian manager as the good guy for the job.
Even though Sandro was linked with the blues even before the arrival of Marcos, the premier league champions revived their interest in the samba star this summer after they qualified for the Champions League.
It appears the player would make the move to Chelsea earlier in the summer following reports that he is determined to reunite with Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge. Reports have however slowed down and it was thought Chelsea have forgotten about him.
But with the transfer window closing next Thursday, Chelsea are said to be prepared to launch a £60 million bid to see if the Serie A champions will allow the player come over to England.
Even though the Turin-based club have made it known that Alex is not for sale this summer, we look on if they won’t be swayed by the big money being offered by Chelsea.
