Juventus star player Alex Sandro appears to be destined for a move to Chelsea this summer.
Despite some speculations last week that Chelsea have lost the player, there are new reports that the Stamford Bridge club are set to hold fresh talks with the player on Monday as he closes in on a £60million move to the English top flight.
It is understood that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keen to bolster his squad with up to four significant signings and the Samba star has emerged as a top target.
Conte hopes to bring the Brazilian international to Stamford Bridge, along with Antonio Rudiger and Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The Daily Telegraph insisted that negotiations over Alex’s move are planned for Monday and the premier league champions hope the talks will spark a breakthrough in their pursuit of Sandro.
It is said that the old ladies are hoping to keep the left-back and are trying to increase his wages to something over £100,000-a-week so as to prevent his heart from being lured away from Turin.
Ligue I heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in Sando, but the player is determined to move to the English top-flight instead.
A few hours ago, Chelsea completed the signing of Willy Caballero as a free agent and will hope to make Sandro their second major signing this summer.
