Breaking! Chelsea Plot £70m Spree For Two January Targets

Chelsea have sent scouts to watch the duo of Stefan de Vrij and Felipe Anderson during Lazio’s win over Atalanta last Sunday.

Chelsea failed to lure the de Vrij to the Stamford Bridge last summer and has reportedly intensified efforts to lure him as Antonio Conte looks to bring in reinforcements to his defensive line.

The center-half has refused to extend his contract with Lazio with suggestions he might be eyeing a move and he is being monitored by some top European clubs.

It is believed that Lazio will demand around £35million for the 24‑year-old defender, who is also attracting interest from Red Devils.

The Blues are also looking at the prospects of signing stunning attacker Felipe Anderson with reports that. The 23-year-old is under contract until the summer of 2020 and would cost a similar amount to De Vrij. Paris St Germain are also interested in Anderson.

Chelsea are believed to be looking at several options in the January transfer window depsite being at the top of the Premier League table.

Antonio Conte has also confirmed he is looking to sign cover for several positions in his favorite 3-4-3 formation which has helped them record considerable results despite having a slow start in the early days of the league.
