Deal Close After Club Official Held Talks With Conte

The Chelsea player that is very much unlikely to play at Stamford Bridge next season is Kurt Zouma.

The youngster has been linked with a move away from Chelsea at the end of this season – although it was made clear that Chelsea are not selling him permanently, but only sending him out on loan.

And now, reports states that the central defender is set for a season-long loan to Marseille, and he is ready to play in the French top flight next term.

According to French news outlet l’Equipe, the premier league champions are ready to allow Zouma leave so he could get first-team experience next year at the Ligue I.

Kurt didn’t achieve success breaking into Conte’s system at the back since returning from his devastating injury. The former Juventus boss has preferred a combination of Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz, and Gary Cahill in his backside.

It was said that a top Marseille official Mr Andoni Zubizarreta, has expressed to Conte the possibility of a move for Kurt this summer and the west London club believes a loan move would be good for the player.

Chelsea signed him from St Etienne back then in 2014 in a deal worth £12m. This season, he has only been able to make just nine appearances in the premier league for Chelsea.
