According to new reports, Chelsea star player and Belgium international Eden Hazard has chose to stay on at Stamford Bridge come next season.

Hazard has been superb this season under new boss Antonio Conte. His classic performances this current campaign have been noticed by many people all over the world, with some insisting he belongs to the category of the duo of Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo.

It was reported that La Liga giants Real Madrid are keen to make a move for the talented player in the fast approaching summer with their manager Zinedine Zidane being a long-term admirer of Hazard.

It was additionally added that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte acknowledges the importance of the Belgian in his team, and would not want the 26-year-old star to leave the Stamford Bridge club.

However, a good news for Chelsea supporters is here. The Telegraph revealed that the player told his close friends that he will definitely ignore a move to Real Madrid and remain at Stamford Bridge next season.

And now, Conte and Chelsea’s management too are working towards rewarding Hazard with a new deal so as to secure his long-term future there at West London.

Hazard is already the highest earner at Chelsea, going home with around £200,000 a week including bonuses. His current contract is expected to expire in 2020.

Since 2020 is still far away from now, one would think there should be no rush to bring up a new deal. Chelsea however are ready to offer Hazard fresh terms that would guarantee he remains the highest-paid player at the club and encourage him to stay put.
