In what will seem as a surprise and shock news to Chelsea fans around the globe, young prodigy Kurt Zouma has been linked with a move-away from Stamford Bridge in the winter transfer window.
This is according to Goal.com, which claims that Italian side Napoli are interested in securing the services of the French International on a short-term loan.
Report has it that the Italian side are unsure of the future of centre back Kalidou Koulibaly and this has urged them to try out Zouma on a short-term basis before considering a permanent move.
Zouma broke into Chelsea starting spot last season under former boss Jose Mourinho, but his impressive display was shortened after sustaining a major Knee injury against Manchester United in February, which saw him ruled out for about six months.
Although the starlet has returned to training with the Blues first team and also featured in Chelsea’s under-23 games, however he is yet to be named in the senior team squad.
Conte may allow the starlet leave in January on a short loan spell to gain full fitness and also first team football as he is not considering a shift in his winning first team squad any time soon.
